Anna Tarnowska Wojak's paintings have been created in the privacy of her studio for many years and there have, so far, not been many opportunities for art lovers to admire them.
What inspires her creations are the natural surroundings as well as everyday encounters with family and pets in the seclusion of the home. However, the most important subject matter for the artist is the human being - both close and distant ones. Nature is for us the source of an infinite number of designs, composition layouts, and Anna Wojak knows how to look and see. Her bunches of flowers, simple in composition, enchant us with their naturalness.
The second theme in her work is the fairy-tale-like still-life. The simplicity of composition and exploration in the field of colour trigger the emotions when looking at her paintings.
Her portraits - mysterious, slightly melancholic, reflect not only the likeness of the model, but above all their personality and inner spirit. There is nothing surprising in this, as Anna Wojak knows how to look, listen and give attention to others in a way that few others can; as for a true artist the creation is not only a gift of God, but passion above all, without which the artist could not exist.
